One Part Dispersion Primer and Green Slab Sealer

ARDEX P 38 is a high-performance one-component dispersion primer and green slab sealer, designed for use on both porous and non-porous substrates. Ideal for internal applications, it effectively blocks capillary moisture up to 95% RH over concrete substrates without underfloor heating and up to 85% RH in heated concrete slabs, making it perfect for a wide range of flooring installations, including those using ARDEX levellers.

Application Instructions:

1. Substrate Preparation – Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, oil, and grease.
2. First Coat – Dilute ARDEX P 38 with water at a 1:1 ratio and apply with a short nap roller.
3. Second Coat – Apply undiluted at a rate of 100-120 g/m².

Drying Time:

• Allow the first coat to dry for at least 2 hours before applying the second coat.
• After the final coat, allow 2 hours of drying before applying ARDEX levellers.

Coverage:

• First coat: 60-75 g/m² (diluted).
• Second coat: 100-120 g/m² (undiluted).
• Coverage of approximately 69m² per unit (depending on substrate porosity).
